emotion-logo-10The Festival was first held in 2007 in the new Benaki Museum. In its three events, it assembled an audience above 12.000 people and received almost 1.000 films from all over the world, of which 120 were screened in total. 

Emotion Pictures travels thoughout Greece and abroad, and collaborates with international festivals. An educational package with award-winning films of the Festival has been delivered to more than 3.000 schools in Greece and abroad.

The Festival is supported by the President of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Karolos Papoulias, UNESCO, the European Parliament, the Niarchos Foundation, the UN Refugee Agency, the IFA, the British Council in Greece, the Goethe Institute of Athens, WWF, Greenpeace, Doctors without Borders

Guidebook for Journalists on Disability Issues and Mass Media

Published in Greek 

The publication of this Guidebook for journalists came as a direct response to issues raised at the 1st Conference "People with Disabilities and Mass Media". Published in November 2006 in Greek, and distributed to journalists throughout Greece, it offers assistance with disability – related terminology.

Aiming to update and reissue the “Guidebook for Journalists on Issues of Disability and the Media”, the Secretariat General of Communication - Secretariat General of Information invites all interested parties to contribute in this endeavour by submitting their proposals.
