Access to the building by public transportation means
The new building of the Secretariat General of Communication-Secretariat General of Information is located:
- at a close distance to the centre of Athens(2,5 km from Syntagma Square),
- 100m. from Sygrou Avenue(at the height of Panteion University-INTERCONTINENTAL Hotel - the new building of Ethniki Asfalistiki), in the direction towards the sea
- 300m. far from the Koukaki Square
Pedestrians have access to two underground passages(Sygrou Avenue and Chamosternas street) and one crossing above the ground(Chamosternas-Theiseos).
Access to the area is easy either from the northern suburbs or the southern ones, due to the existence of a great number of public transportation means: busses (14 lines), trolley(3 lines), metro and tram.
